Patrick Cripps

Patrick Cripps added to his trophy cabinet in 2024, winning the Brownlow Medal for the second time and the John Nicholls Medal for the fifth time in his career.

The captain was one of only three Blues to play every game in 2024, averaging 28.8 disposals, 15.7 contested possessions, 8.1 clearances and kicking 17 goals.

Integral to the Blues midfield, the Carlton captain was ranked No.1 in the AFL for total clearances, centre clearances and contested possessions, No.2 in total handballs and stoppage clearances and inside the top 10 for total disposals, earning his fourth All-Australian selection.

In a year where he was electric on the field and ticked off his 200th game, the highlight for Cripps was the birth of his daughter Koda with wife Monique.

Heading into his seventh season as skipper, Cripps is primed for another strong season working alongside the likes of Sam Walsh and George Hewett.
