After overcoming persistent hamstring injuries, the prized No.9 draft pick got his body right for the 2024 season, only to be cruelly cut down by a season-ending knee injury.
It occurred in just the second game of the campaign and was an early dampener for the Tigers.
Gibcus will be intent on returning as season 2025 progresses and becoming a central figure in the club’s rebuild.
