Bazzo overcame a debilitating groin injury to return to AFL action in the final game of the season in Geelong, almost a full year since his last appearance. Standing at 195cm and possessing good agility, the key defender has the tools to be successful at the elite level if he can get his body right. He should receive opportunities to showcase his talent in 2025 following the departure of experienced full-back Tom Barrass and has been part of the Eagles’ succession planning since he was taken at pick 31 in the 2021 national draft.
