Alex Cincotta signed on for Carlton in the 2023 Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period, looking to fill the hole left by Zac Williams.

Debuting at the senior level in Round 6, Cincotta played 19 games in his first season, showing grit and determination as a small defender straight off the bat.

Cincotta’s natural defensive ability, speed, burst and kicking are just some of the assets that he brought to the defensive lineup, as well as his hard attack on the contest, willingness to crash packs and put his body on the line for his team.

As a reward for effort, Cincotta was awarded a one-year contract extension, seeing the mature-age recruit live another year of his fairytale journey.
