The loping left-footer’s tough run with injury continued in 2024, with Sheed restricted to just eight AFL matches and four WAFL Eagles appearances. A hot spot in Sheed’s foot delayed his start to the season before hamstring setbacks ended his campaign early, and he was subsequently sent for foot surgery to prepare for the 2025 campaign. Injury setbacks have limited the Kalgoorlie product to just 24 matches over the past three AFL seasons but his experience, leadership and class will continue to be important for the evolving Eagles.
