Taken with pick No.3 of the 2022 AFL Draft, Sheezel is an absolute game-changer who can star across all three lines. The versatile gun claimed the 2023 AFL Rising Star Award and a maiden Syd Barker Medal in his debut season, before adding a second club best and fairest medal to his name in 2025, tying with Tristan Xerri. Clinical and composed with the ability to find plenty of the footy, Sheezel equalled the all-time AFL/VFL record for most disposals in a single game in Round 23, 2025, notching 54 touches against Richmond. Impressing with his leadership in his early years, he was elected co-vice captain ahead of the 2025 season and sole vice-captain ahead of 2026.
