The young ruckman was plucked as a development prospect after having 20 hit-outs for the Young Guns against Vic Country’s national championships team and averaging 17.6 in seven Coates Talent League games for Eastern Ranges. And he went ahead in leaps and bounds at VFL level, playing eight matches, averaging 22.6 hit-outs including a remarkable 55 against Richmond in round 18. It will be exciting to see what he can do with a full pre-season under his belt.
