Spent most of last year in the VFL before being called up as a stop-gap ruckman in round 22 when Kieren Briggs was injured. Performed strongly in that role with 32 hit-outs and held his spot for the last four games even when Briggs returned the following week. The veteran big man was delisted at the end of the season but re-selected in the Rookie Draft to continue his career into a 17th year.
