Marcus Bontempelli

A six-time All Australian and six-time Charles Sutton Medallist, Bontempelli continues to establish himself as one of the competition’s premier midfielders. Taken with Pick 4 in the 2013 Draft, Bontempelli made his AFL debut in Round 5, 2014. The former Northern Knight is proficient around the contest, has a damaging left foot and possesses the ability to hit the scoreboard. Was also a key member of the Club’s 2016 drought-breaking premiership. Bontempelli has served as captain since 2020, and has since added three AFLPA MVP Trophies (2021, 2023, 2024) and All-Australian captaincy (2024) to his resume. Also finished runner-up in the 2021 and 2023 Brownlow Medal counts.
