Max Knobel

Promising ruck giant who was at Fremantle for two years without a senior game, he was stolen by the Suns via the Rookie Draft in November having been delisted by the Dockers with a promise of a return. Son of ex-Brisbane, St Kilda and Richmond ruckman Trent Knobel, he lived on the Gold Coast when his father played at Labrador post-AFL, but moved with his family to Maffra in 2015. Starred with Gippsland Power and Vic Country in 2022 and has had two years learning from Luke Jackson and Luke Darcy while playing at WAFL level with Peel Thunder.
