When James Blanck went down with his ACL late in the pre-season, there were real concerns as to who would be the tall lockdown defender for the team. Frost quickly put these concerns to rest as ‘Frostball’ became a thing of the past. In terms of consistency, playing 97.6 per cent of game time, Frost had his best year – only to develop an injury that took him out of the Port Adelaide semi-final, where his leadership would have been valued. Earned a contract extension, but with the 2025 recruits, Frost is another whose role will be a close watch over the pre-season.
