Minor hamstring and knee injuries delayed Sturt’s start to 2024, playing just one of the first 11 matches at AFL level. But he wasted no time making himself indispensable when he broke into the team, booting nine goals in his first four games and going on to kick an accurate 21.7 in 13 games. If he can get a clear run, he could become a key foil for Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss as a medium forward.
