The Tigers landed a player with tremendous upside when taking Hotton with pick 12 in the National Draft.
He was projected as a top-five selection early in 2024 before injuring his ACL.
The classy midfielder/forward had previously showed his full array of skills for the Sandringham Dragons, AFL National Academy team and Haileybury College.
Taj is the son former Collingwood and Carlton player Trent and brother of Olli who spent time on St Kilda’s list.
