The young ruckman played five games last season but none after round 12, continuing a luckless run with injuries in his three seasons on the Cats’ list. He made his AFL debut in the final round of 2023, having missed much of that season with a stress fracture in his foot, but had more foot issues in 2024. Has been earmarked as a player who could develop into Geelong’s first-choice ruckman and gave a glimpse of his undoubted potential with 41 hitouts in the club’s round six win over Brisbane. Hopefully he can have an injury-free run in 2025.
