Joel Hamling

Defender Joel Hamling finds his fourth club at the Sydney Swans after a collective 12 seasons at the Geelong Cats, Western Bulldogs and Fremantle. The 30-year-old joined the red and white as an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2023 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period after 91 career games. He was drafted by the Cats in 2011 with pick 32 but didn’t make his AFL debut until moving to the Dogs in 2015. He is yet to make his club debut for the Swans but was vital in securing success for the VFL side last season.
